ARCTIC WEBCAM DRAWINGS
Over the past six months I have been working (in collaboration with Siobhan Rigg ) on a new project about the Northwest Passage and the issues of sovereignty
and environment that have been raised due to the melting of ice in this long-sought after trade-route.
These drawings of stills from a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration webcam located at the north pole, document the absurdity of attempting to know a place I have never been and will probably never go,
and interrogate the narrow viewpoint from which I am attempting to see and know something.
