At our 2 day symposium we hosted a panel discussion on alternative economic models (local currencies, land trust) and a workshop on macro-economics for non-economists, led by Matt Myer, a high school economics teacher. Several local entrepreneurs also joined in to sell their wares like homemade Kim Chi by Ben Vernot and cupcakes by Deanna Hitchcock.
